Hi Xavier,
I have juste updated to 3.5 and compiled one of my menus.
The new loader code is really bigger than the previous one.
The ie script goes from 34128 to 34468 bytes.
The ns script jumps from 33288 to 36671 butes.
Best, Fabien

Remember that with every new version the menus result a bit larger than with previous ones. There're two reasons for this:
- The program has more options and consequently the code gets larger
- It always take me a couple of more releases to properly tweak the compression algorithm
--------
I've already started working on 3.5.001 and the code generated by this version is considerably smaller.

OK Xavier, but it's not me but you who claimed that with engine 1.3 "the generated code for Navigator 4 has been highly enhanced resulting in smaller, faster and more stable menus."
So I was a litlle disappointed. On this point only, the new functions are great.

The announcement was made by the time an early 3.5 beta was released, way before all the new features were added which have made the code grow (again).
But don't worry... eventually I will manage to get it smaller again.
