Full Version: Mixing vertical and horizontal menus

I am attempting to mix a menu system (toolbar) between groups displaying vertically and horizontally.

All groups by default are being displayed horizontally. At the first attempt to make an menu display vertically, I reached a problem.

Despite setting the Horizontal/Vertical setting to Vertical for the specific group, it is displaying to the right of the trigger image, and not below it as I would expect.

Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening?

BTW...I tried to upload the menu builder file, but the forum said "You cannot upload this type of file" - STRANGE.

Many thanks

Martin,

Please try re-posting your .dmb project so I can take a look at it.

(I fixed the problem with the board not allowing .dmb files to be posted)

I actually fixed this problem in the end. I was basically trying to set the type of menu (vertical or horizontal) on the wrong type of treeview. I found that when trying to do this on the 'Map' view, it didn't work. However, when I tried to set the menu type on the 'Normal' view, it did!

Just a shame it took me so long to figure it out.

Thanks
