Have you noticed the two new toolbars on the forum?

Well, those were created with DHTML Menu Builder 3.6

The main feature in this new release will be the ability to create multiple toolbars from within the same project.

So... you will not longer have to deal with the complexities of the "Sharing Projects" feature.

Here're two screenshots of how the new "Toolbars Editor" look like.

Wow! Another miracle by Xavier! I'll use this feature immediatly.

1. In fact, I'll merge two existing toolbars. Is it be possible to import them in the new project?

2. Is it possible by using only different loader codes to display one toolbar, or the other or the both of them?
If not, you can move this message to the wish list. wink.gif

One more time: bravo and thanks.
Cheers, Fabien

Fabien,

1) You can drag and drop groups from one instance of DMB to the other.

So, open both projects at the same time and drag&drop the groups from one of them to the other.

2) Not on version 3.6... but I've already though of this.
I’m planning to implement “conditional” variables to modify the generated code dynamically and enable/disable menu items based on a variable’s state and make toolbars appear and disappear based on some javascript-based condition.

Xavier,

You mentioned that you have plans on including js control of conditional menus. This would be really helpful in my project.

I was wondering if you had any idea when this might happen.

Thanks,

Hunt

Dear Hunt,

Due to the complexity of implementing these options it's not going to be soon... but hopefully we'll see this feature before the end of the year.

Thanks,

I'll do static menus for now and might look at upgrading the project early next year.
