Full Version: Menus completely out of alignment

Hi Xavier,

I have a feeling these problems are linked to each other, but I can't tell what it might be.  I am running framed menus on my intranet site.  When the page loads, I get an error pointing to the page which holds the menus "Object Expected".  The menus still display, but are not aligned with their hotspots in the frame above.  They display at the extreme left edge of the page, and about 30px down.  All the menus appear from this point.

I cancelled the Frame Loader code in the page which displays the menus, and naturally the menus didn't appear, but the error doesn't come up either.  Are these problems connected?

Cheers.

Probably...

Can you please post the URL to your web site?

Hi Xavier - unfortunately not - it's an intranet site.  However, I have attached the project......hope that is of some help.

Cheers.

Better still - here is the entire website!

TheD0kt0r,

Launch the HotSpots Editor (Tools->HotSpots Editor) and click Install.

Then you will see the "HotSpots Arrangement" dialog.
Here you must select "horizontally" not "vertically".

This will fix your problem.

Damn - I must be blind!!!  Thanks Xavier!!

The menus are now working, but that "Object Expected" error is still coming up.  Obviously the two are not linked, so what do you think it could be??

I did recompile your project and the error fixed itself.
I'm at home now (and should be sleeping biggrin.gif ) and I just have DMB 3.6beta2 here but I don't recommend you upgrading to this version yet.

1) Check that you have the latest 3.5 version available
2) Check that all the links on your commands are properly setup. This means that there no hand-written links and that all the links were defined using the browse button.
