i'm writing an application where the user needs to be able to identify beats and key points in the music.. i want to be able to load a wave file and show the spectrum analysis and the wave form on the screen.. let the user zoom in and out.. and when they click on a certain part of it it will know how far into the wav this point is.. its basicaly for a show control system.. would like to have the spectrum analysis part there to assist the user picking the key points in the music..

would this control work for me do you think?
