Hi,

I have set up DHTML menus on a website and they work fine.

However, when I set up a Content Management System to edit the webpages there is an incompatiblity with the DHTML javascript within the BODY tags. I have spoken to the company who provided the CMS scripts and they say there is nothing they can do.

The solution would be to move the DHTML javascript to an external file. Can this be done?

Many thanks
Brett

Yes. Just copy the loader code to a .js file and load it as you would any other .js file. It must, however, load immediately after the <body> and before any other content. However, why moving the code to an external file would fix anything is beyond me.

It would help if you could show an example page of your site that's causing trouble. I very much doubt that this is a serious problem, though you haven't actually stated what the problem is.
