Full Version: Submenu spacing

Please click on one of the menu items here:

Notice I used an image background for sub-items (commands/items within groups). Tiling and cropping both off.
The image background is a PNG that is 34 pixels high.
When I applied this background image, suddenly there is way too much vertical space in between each sub-item. Like 20 extra vertical pixels.

I looked thru all the settings such as margins and selection effects for project, toolbar, menu items, and sub-items. I set all of those to zero but it didn't help.

Ideas? I searched this forum before posting and didn't see any solutions. Sorry if I missed a post that answers this question!

I found one post that had to do with changing "leading" but that was 2007 and I can't find a setting for that in this [latest] version of DHTML MB that I'm using.
Here is my project file:

While you can use PNG images anywhere where images are supported, DHTML Menu Builder does not really supports them so it is unable to properly determine their size.

Although there are tricks to overcome this limitation in DHTML Menu Builder, the easiest way to fix this problem is to simply convert the images to GIFs.

Attached is a version of your project using the GIF version of your background images.
