Hello,
Sorry if this is my second post on the same thing. My comp crashed while uploading.
My menus are flashing and loading weird when viewing this site online:
www.bss.on.ca/new/index.html
offline, it works great (see attached)
I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't figure it out.
HELP!
Also, should the meus work in Netscape 4.7?
Thanks
Noah

Any idea what the problem is?
noah,
What's the exact version number?
Is it 3.5.004?
------
I have seen that behavior before but not so... "noticeable".

yes, 3.5.004
Keep in mind this is only when it's online, not when it running locally.

I don't think its a server issue... it looks to me that it has to be some sort of combination between the frames implementation, other javascript code and some other thing.
Why don't you create a copy of your frame set on some folder and then start removing "things", such as rollover effects, flash animations, etc... and see if you notice any changes and/or improvements.

OK,
I've taken everything out except the menus.
http://www.bss.on.ca/newexp/index.htmland it's still happening.
It has to be a server issue. I've put it on another server and it works fine. Next week I will rebuild the web server. hopefully this will fix the problem.
Is there anything else you can think of that might be causing this?
Thanks a million
Noah

Wow... you're right! This is weird.
How is the webmaster?
Can you ask him/her about the server's cache and session expiration settings?

I rebuilt the server, reinstalling win2000 server and everything works fine now. I still don't know what the problem was but it works now.
Tell me, should my menu work in Netscape 4?

Yes.
DHTML Menu Builder's menus are fully supported under the ancient Navigator 4.
