Full Version: NS4.x Error: GetImgOffset has no properties

I am trying to use roll-down menus with div tags.  The code works properly in IE and Netscape 6.x, but I get Javascripts errors with Netscape 4.x.  It says that the GetImgOffset has no properties.  I took a look at the GetImgOffset function in menu.js and it is an empty function.  The GetImgXY function calls this function when NS4.x is used, otherwise it calls the getOffset function, which works properly but will not work with NS4.x.  Does anyone have an ideas has to why this function is blank or how I can fix this problem?

Thanks,

Drew

I am sorry, I meant to attach this file.

That function shoulnd't be empty!

What version of DMB are you using?
hylbert
I am using 3.5, but this code was generated using 3.3, I believe.  I am a research programer and I am helping a friend in the Web Development department of my company.  She asked me to take a look at this problem.  She generated the files.

This is the file I have tried to upload twice.  I wanted to upload it because she said something about an Add-In...?

I see...

You will need to remove the AddIn that you're using from your project.
Click on File->Project Properties->Advanced
And set the AddIn to (none).

The functionality on that AddIn has already been implemented into DMB 3.5 so there's no need to use it.

NOTE: It is very important that you get the latest 3.5 beta which was released a couple of days ago.

What problem were you having uploading the .js file?

Thank you for your help.

The reason I was having problems attaching the file was because  I was previewing my posts and didn't realize that you have to add the attachment again in the preview page.  It was user error.

Have you been able to resolve the problem with NS4?
