Hello XFX,

I had a good working menu "see here:) " , but after upgrading and placing the new loader codes its a mess. "see here:( " My hotspots images are disapearing under the mainframe page. You only can see the images if you select the page and scroll down with the mouse pointer(the images than will be visible) I did probably did something wrong, but I can't figure out the problem...

It looks like the problem is with the design of the "toppage.htm"

The version that works has a logo image and then the buttons are right besides it.

On the version that doesn't work there're two logo images, one below the other and the menus are besides the lower logo image.

If you open the toppage.htm document in your HTML editor (which I believe is FrontPage) you will see what I mean.

All you have to do is force your image-based hotspots to appear aligned with the topmost logo so they are visible when the page is viewed from the frameset.

Hi FXF,

I feel very blunt that I didn't see the doubble image, but this extra image was generated by the script, after I compiled the script and installed the loader code(really! ). I removed now manually the old loader code from my (backuped)files and installed the new loadercode. Its now working better, but the menus are only popping up on the leftside of the frame page. I cant show the page because the server were the files are having upload difficulties sad.gif Maybe I can find this problem somewere on the forum

I'm using dreamweaver MX and win XP

peterl,

The most common cause for the menus to appear misaligned when using image-based hotspots can be fixed by following these steps:

1) Launch the HotSpots Editor
2) Make sure all the groups are properly attached to each one of your images
3) Check that they are using the correct alignment (Bottom/Left)
4) And check that each image has a unique "Image Name" assigned to it
5) Now click on the Install button
6) After clicking Install you will see a dialog asking you how are your hotspots aligned; you MUST select "horizontaly"

Please let me know if this fixes your problem.
